№ 801 Physics

Established in 1930.
Currently in the department of more than 50 teachers – of doctors and candidates of sciences, including 6 professors and 40 associate professors.
Department annually produces up to 15 specialists in “Applied mathematics”.
The basic training course for full-time students and part-IIA and its subsidiaries is a general physics course. Specialty “Applied Mathematics” at the department reads 11 courses of specialization, “Application of mathematical methods in applied physical problems,” considering the application of mathematical methods and computer technology in the study of special problems in theoretical and applied physics.
The department has several computer rooms for laboratory work, modern laboratory practicum. At the department is working to create a system of distance learning physics using the Internet. At the department created a set of textbooks and teaching aids for multi-level physics teaching.
